DSIC Students Immerse Themselves in the World of Racing at Super GT Malaysia 2025
On June 28, 2025, Despark International College (DSIC) provided students with an exclusive opportunity to attend Super GT Malaysia 2025, held at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit. Students were given the rare opportunity to experience a top-tier motorsport event up close, both on the grandstands and behind the scenes.
This initiative was made possible through the generous support of Haro Sports Entertainment Sdn. Bhd., which sponsored 500 complimentary admission tickets worth over RM125,000. These passes granted students access to both the spectator area and the Pit Zone, allowing them to step directly into the core of racing operations. Inside the Pit Zone, students observed firsthand how professional teams manage vehicle maintenance, tuning, tire changes, and team coordination during high-pressure race conditions.
Throughout the event, students were thrilled by the intense on-track battles between the GT500 and GT300 classes, while gaining invaluable exposure to the inner workings of motorsport engineering and logistics. This hands-on experience served as a powerful extension of classroom learning, bridging theory and real-world practice, and igniting students’ passion for automotive engineering and motorsports.
Beyond the track, the event featured a vibrant festival atmosphere — from JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) car showcases to Japanese cultural stalls, food vendors, and interactive exhibits — offering students a deeper appreciation of racing and tuning culture.
