DSIC Empowers Future Automotive Talent through AIC with Cycle & Carriage

Petaling Jaya, 30 April 2026 – Despark International College (DSIC) was pleased to welcome the team from Cycle & Carriage Bintang (CCB) for the AIC 9.0 event, a meaningful industry engagement session aimed at connecting DSIC students with career development opportunities in the automotive industry.

As part of DSIC’s ongoing commitment to industry-driven education, the event provided students with valuable exposure to one of Malaysia’s established automotive companies while introducing potential pathways for study support, internship placement, and future career opportunities.

The programme began with student registration, followed by an introduction to Cycle & Carriage and a briefing on the Cycle & Carriage Malaysia (CCMY) Study Grant. The Study Grant serves as a form of financial assistance provided by Cycle & Carriage Malaysia to support deserving students in pursuing their education. It may cover areas such as course fees, examination fees, certification fees, tuition, and miscellaneous education-related expenses.

In addition to the study grant briefing, students also participated in a career talk, where they gained insights into the automotive service industry, workplace expectations, career pathways, and the skills required to succeed in a professional automotive environment.
The event also included a technical assessment session, allowing students to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of automotive-related concepts. Following the assessment, an interview session was conducted for students interested in internship opportunities with Cycle & Carriage.

Through this collaboration, DSIC students were able to engage directly with industry representatives, learn more about real career expectations, and explore internship opportunities that could support their professional growth after graduation.
DSIC extends its sincere appreciation to Cycle & Carriage for their continuous support in developing young automotive talents. This initiative reflects DSIC’s commitment to strengthening industry partnerships and preparing students with the practical skills, confidence, and career readiness needed to succeed in the automotive sector.

By working closely with reputable industry partners, DSIC continues to create meaningful learning and career opportunities for students, ensuring they are well-prepared to enter the workforce and contribute to the future of the automotive industry.
