Melaka, 20 September 2025 — Despark International College (DSIC) successfully hosted the Wheels & Thrills Melaka automotive carnival at its Melaka campus, drawing a large crowd of car enthusiasts and members of the public. The event served as a vibrant celebration of vehicle modification, creativity, and automotive aesthetics.
The lively atmosphere welcomed every guest with a door gift upon arrival. The showcase featured an impressive lineup of modified cars, many of which highlighted bold creativity and personal expression through dynamic RGB lighting modifications. The range of designs was diverse — from sleek and sporty builds to cute and playful concepts. Standout attractions such as bubble-blowing cars and smoke-emitting vehicles captured the audience’s attention, even outshining the popular “pop and bang” style modifications.
The carnival also marked a meaningful milestone — the 20th Anniversary of Despark International College. Guests and students gathered to celebrate two decades of the college’s growth and achievements in automotive education. The festivities reached their peak with a heartfelt cake-cutting ceremony, followed by a dazzling fireworks display that concluded the evening on a memorable note.
A key highlight was the award ceremony, which recognized outstanding entries in four competition categories: Best Exterior, Best Interior, The Cleanest Engine Bay, and People’s Choice. The winners received not only enthusiastic applause from the audience but also exclusive automotive products from event partners, serving as a fitting tribute to their craftsmanship.
More than just an automotive exhibition, Wheels & Thrills Melaka was a powerful celebration of creativity, innovation, and passion. It vividly reflected the younger generation’s enthusiasm for automotive culture and reinforced DSIC’s unwavering commitment to advancing education in automotive technology and creative design.
