The programme develops students’ knowledge and skills in the design, analysis and development of motorsport engineering systems. Students will explore key areas including motorsport performance and aerodynamics, chassis and suspension design, mechanical design and analysis, CAD/CAM, mechanical modelling and simulation, as well as powertrain analysis and integration.
Through engineering design projects, students will apply their knowledge to motorsport-focused engineering challenges while developing problem-solving, design and technical skills. At an advanced stage, the programme also explores innovation and sustainability within motorsport engineering, together with professional practice and an individual project that allows students to further develop their technical knowledge and professional readiness.
