Petaling Jaya, 24 April 2026 – Despark International College (DSIC) is proud to announce the outstanding achievement of the DSIC Motorsport Team at Formula Student Malaysia (FSM) 2026, where the team delivered an impressive performance across two competitive categories: FSAE and F1000.
In the FSAE Category, DSIC Motorsport Team emerged as the Overall Champion, securing 1st Place in the Overall Result. The team also claimed 1st Place in the Static Event, demonstrating strong engineering knowledge, design understanding, technical presentation, and overall project planning. In the Dynamic Event, the team achieved 3rd Place, recording a best time of 58.723 seconds.
The team also competed in the F1000 Category, where they achieved an impressive 2nd Place, further proving their capability, consistency, and competitiveness across different racing formats.
These achievements reflect the dedication, teamwork, and technical skills of DSIC students, who applied their classroom knowledge to real motorsport challenges. Through the competition, students gained valuable hands-on experience in vehicle preparation, engineering problem-solving, performance analysis, teamwork, and race-day operations.
