DSIC Students Complete New Energy Vehicle Technology Learning Trip at Guangzhou Railway Polytechnic

Despark International College (DSIC) successfully organized a New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Technology Learning Trip to Guangzhou Railway Polytechnic, China, from April 5 to April 10, 2026. The program aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the latest developments in the rapidly evolving automotive industry.

Throughout the six-day program, students engaged in a combination of lectures, hands-on training, and virtual simulation sessions. Key learning areas included high-voltage safety, battery management systems, and intelligent connected vehicle technologies. Students also gained practical experience in battery disassembly, fault diagnosis, and drive-by-wire system operations.

In addition to academic training, the program featured several industry visits. Students visited XPENG Motors’ intelligent manufacturing facility and Times GAC to learn about advanced production processes, battery technologies, and ultra-fast charging systems. They also explored the GAC Technology Museum and experienced autonomous driving at the Guangzhou Intelligent Connected Vehicle (ICV) Demonstration Zone.

The learning trip also incorporated cultural exchange activities, including campus engagement with local students and a Pearl River night cruise, allowing participants to broaden their global perspective.

The program concluded with group presentations and a certificate awarding session, where students demonstrated their learning outcomes and reflected on their experiences.

This initiative reflects DSIC’s ongoing commitment to providing industry-relevant education and equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed for future careers in the automotive sector.
